Nano-structured anti-reflective surfaces

Nano-structure

Edmund Optics has developed nano-structured anti-reflective surfaces that can be used to reduce stray light in laser systems for materials processing.

When thin-film anti-reflective coatings experience laser-induced damage, the damage can propagate and cause system failure. On the other hand, when Edmund's new Nebular™ surfaces experience laser-induced damage, it does not propagate and instead effectively “melts” the nanostructures back into the bulk material.

Find out more about these innovative surfaces in this new whitepaper.
